Skiing in the French Pyrenees:
The Ariege has ten ski stations to satisfy every level of skier. Five stations which are down hill, three which are cross country, one with down hill and cross country and one totally given to cross country skiing. The ski season is from approximately late November till early April depending on snow fall. Maison Famille is situated outside resorts to allow you to explore all the different areas and is ideal for families with younger children who don’t necessarily want to ski every day.

If you don’t ski you can still enjoy the beauty of the Pyrenees in the snow. Snowshoeing can be done wherever there is snow on the ground. Pop on a pair of “Raquettes a neige” and walk and explore the mountains on foot.
Maison Famille is also conveniently situated approximately one and a half to two hours away from Andorra and the resorts of Pas de la Casa and Soldeu.
