Un havre de paix au cœur des Pyrénées ariégeoises !
On se sent en effet comme dans une « Maison de famille », entourés de meubles anciens ravissants , qui confèrent une atmosphère chaleureuse au lieu.
Sarah et Stewart sont très présents et toujours soucieux de savoir si on ne manque de rien. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique et se prend dans une cuisine qui ne détonnerait pas dans un magazine de décoration !
Nous avons passé un excellent moment à la Maison Famille ainsi qu’au sublime Golf de l’Ariege à deux pas.

We had the most amazing and wonderful week at La Maison Famille. Stuart, Sarah and little Callum were warm and delightful hosts to 5 families with 8 kids under 8! They speak fluent French and have in depth local knowledge of markets, near by towns, great day trips, lakes and things for all manner of visitor to enjoy. The late August weather was gorgeous, and if we got too hot we could cool off in the pool or under many options of shade outside; trees, hammocks, garden furniture and plenty for everyone. The bedrooms were ultra comfy, spacious and well furnished and the large kitchen a hub for many lovely meals, some cooked by us and some by Sarah. I would highly recommend this place to anyone at any time of year be it B & B or hiring the whole place with good friends. We chilled and laughed and ate and drank the very best of the local cuisine both 'at home' and out and about. The Ariege region is absolutely stunning and the house beautifully situated in every sense. I can't recommend it highly enough and we are already planning next year's visit.

The reception from Mr and Mrs Evans and the comfort of our room has been excellent. I took up their offer of two evening meals and Sarah’s rendition of a French Cassoulet was superb. I have made a reservation to return again in September - Truly wonderful stay!

Fantastic facilities for a family of 14. Great welcome from the hosts, who were very accommodating. Our 2 week stay was most enjoyable and the 4 children in our party have made the most of the pool. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The entire family have had a wonderful time and we’ll definitely return in the future.

Had a wonderful break at La Maison Famille. Great days out to swimming lakes that were warm enough in October! Lovely markets nearby and stunning scenery. No better place to enjoy if from than here. Sarah the Chef produced course after course of mouth watering food and generous portions. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Looking forward to returning.

We have spent a wonderful mid-week break at La Maison Famille, taking in the beautiful landscape, local sights and outstanding hospitality shown to us by the Evans family. Their welcome dinner menu on our arrival was a splendid start to our visit and the following day the subterranean river just down the road was a great hit with our kids.
